How to Choose the Right Running Shoes in Kenya

Kenya is a running nation, so it's no surprise that running shoes and sports shoes are some of the most searched-for footwear in the country. But the right pair depends on more than looks — the wrong running shoe can cause blisters, sore knees and a quick trip back to the shop.
Start with cushioning and support. For road running and long jogs at Karura or Ngong Road, look for soft, responsive cushioning and a stable heel. For gym shoes and cross-training, a flatter, firmer sole gives you better balance under weights. Tennis and court shoes need extra grip and side support for quick lateral moves.
Then check fit and breathability. Leave a thumb's width at the toe, choose a breathable mesh upper for our warm climate, and always try the true size — sports shoes should feel snug, never tight. Replace them once the tread wears smooth.
Our sports range covers lightweight running trainers, gym shoes and court-ready styles for men and women. Not sure what fits your sport? Visit Azariah's Collection or message us and we'll point you to the right pair.
